Whether you’re just getting started with sheep or have been raising them for years, sometimes it helps to have another set of experienced eyes. Over the years, I’ve had many shepherds visit Three Creeks Farm—or invite me to theirs—to talk through flock management, breeding goals, pasture systems, parasite control, and day-to-day challenges.
I truly enjoy helping other shepherds succeed. At the same time, these consultations require time away from my own farm and family, so they are now offered as a professional service.
While my experience is centered around heritage Horned Dorset sheep, many of the management principles apply to other breeds as well.

Farm Visit Consultation
Sometimes the best way to help is to see your flock in its own environment.
I’ll visit your farm, walk through your operation with you, observe your animals and facilities, answer questions, and discuss opportunities or concerns specific to your flock.
Following the visit, you’ll receive a written summary covering:
- Topics we discussed
- Recommendations
- Helpful resources and articles
- Links to trusted references for further learning
Approximately 2-hour farm visit
Written follow-up included

Travel is included within 10 miles of Three Creeks Farm.
A mileage fee applies for farms located more than 10 miles away.
